Parking and car parks
On-street parking is available in West Lothian either in designated parking places or in areas where parking is not controlled. Within the main town centres, parking is controlled and stays are limited.
In West Lothian, enforcement of on-street parking regulations is the responsibility of the police. If you receive an on-street parking ticket, follow the instructions on the ticket. The council cannot intervene but can provide copies of the relevent traffic orders on request.
