Public transport information

Summary

The council is responsible for co-ordinating public transport services across West Lothian, although individual services are provided by private operators (ScotRail, First Edinburgh, etc.). In some cases, the council may contract a private firm to run a service which might not otherwise be commercially viable. It can also take up complaints on behalf of the public.

For more information on bus times and to help plan your trip select ''Plan a Journey'' from the left hand menu bar on West Lothian online.
