Tenant Participation
What is Tenant Participation?
Tenant Participation is about you as a tenant becoming involved in the development of Housing Services. It is about giving you a chance to have your say and work with others to influence the services provided.
You can get involved in issues such as:
- Influencing how much rent you pay
- Commenting on service standards
- Improving housing and the environment in your area
You can get involved in a number of formal and informal ways as an individual or as a member of a Registered Tenant Organisation. Some of the ways you can choose to get involved are:
- Tenant Led Inspections
- Focus groups and Working Groups
- Tenant Information Days
- Housing Networks
- Estate Walkabouts
There are many more ways you can get involved in a way that suits you, for more information please take a look at the Tenant Participation Strategy, which is available to download. If you would like to chat to someone about this or would like a copy of the strategy sent out , contact the Tenant Participation Team.
