Opening Hours Changes
Some libraries will be changing their opening hours on a Wednesday from 2nd April to allow time for staff training and the changes are listed below.
Opening at 11am - Carmondean Connected and Lanthorn
Closing at 3pm - Armadale, Broxburn and Whitburn
No change - Almondbank, Bathgate, Blackburn, Blackridge, Fauldhouse, Linlithgow, Pumpherston and West Calder
East Calder library will be opening at 10.30am on a Wednesday from the beginning of May, rather than April.

You can now download the latest bestsellers as talking books and play them on a variety of devices, to listen to where and when you like. There are over 1000 titles to choose from with unlimited availability on each title, so no more waiting lists. New titles are added each month, with something for all ages and tastes.

**Local History Library Has Moved**
The Local History Library has moved from County Buildings into Linlithgow branch library while County Buildings is being converted into a Partnership Centre. The phone number remains the same - 01506 282491.
You can choose from a wide range of popular magzines and download them FREE to a variety of devices including your pc, laptop, IPad, tablet or phone, giving you access wherever you choose, 24/7.
We have over 50 magazines covering food, travel, motoring, fitness, sport, hobbies, celebrity and much more. Full list of titles.
Simply register on the Zinio (new window) site with your library barcode, email address and password, create a separate Zinio account (you can use the same email address and password) then start downloading the magazines of your choice.

West Lothian has 14 community libraries (new window), providing a variety of services with something for everyone. We also have two mobile libraries which will visit outlying areas of West Lothian. Click here to view or download the leaflet which explains what's available at your local library.
You can now join the library online. Click HERE to begin your membership application. You will still need to visit the library to provide your proof of identification and collect your ticket.
Register on the eBooks site (new window) with your library barcode and PIN (usually the last 4 digits of your phone number) and then logon and start searching. You can borrow or reserve up to six eBooks at a time and download them to a variety of eBook readers, IPhones, IPads and Android devices, including the Kindle Fire.
