Has anyone seen our balloons?
That's the plea from staff at Livingston shop Bonmarche.
For a week after launching a clutch of balloons in aid of Sands (sudden and neonatal death society), they have yet to hear back if anyone has found one.
"We are giving two prizes," said store manager Jan Whyman, "one for the person whose balloon travelled the furthest and one for the person who finds it."
Staff at the store have pledged to raise £1,000 for SANDS.
"We are well on our way to achieving this," added Jan, "so far we have set up a staff charity tuck shop, a spare change jar and several of the staff and customers have made greetings cards which we sell in our store."
Jan and her staff decided to raise the money for SANDS, after her area manager, Sean Casey, and his wife suffered such a loss.
"He has pledged to raise £40,000 and we aim to help him achieve his target," said Jan.

The pilot project is due to run for six weeks. "No decisions have been taken yet, but we will be considering the possibility of extending the scheme based on the results of the success of the pilot project," added Councillor Johnston.
"I would like to thank licensees in the Armadale area for the way they co-operated with this partnership project.
