Community surgeries
Police officers from Livingston police station and staff from the council's housing department will be holding community surgeries for the communities of Carmondean, Deans, Knightsridge, Livingston Village and Eliburn.
These surgeries aim to assist members of the community with any ongoing issues they have in an informal setting.
The first community surgery will take place at Carmondean Connected... from 11am - 1pm on Thursday 16 February. Future surgeries will take place every four weeks.
These surgeries are for consultations only and do not replace the usual reporting methods.

Diversion in place for road closure
Deans Road will be closed between Royston Roundabout and the junction with Caputhall Road from 6pm on Friday 2 March to 9pm on Friday 9 March.
This is to allow essential bridge repairs and resurfacing work to be carried out. There will be a signposted diversion via the A89, Boghall Roundabout, the A779 (Starlaw Road), Tailend Roundabout and Deans.
Pedestrians are not affected by the closure.
Science is not fiction at Peel Primary
Peel Primary School is raising awareness of science this year.
Every class in the school will be visiting the Glasgow Science Centre this session supporting science that is being taught in class.
Pupils have taken part in science workshops, explored the Science Mall and some classes have watched a science film in the I-Max theatre.
The school passes on thanks to the PPSA, who have helped fund these educational visits.
Tuition available at chess club
Livingston Village Chess Club is happy to provide tuition for beginners.
The club meets from 6 - 8.30pm on Tuesday evenings at the community education centre within Livingston Village Primary School.
Places are limited, so for further information please contact chess coach Tom Wills on 07501 353 310.
New faces at club
New faces were at the helm when Livingston Village over 50s / Senior Citizens Club returned from its festive break.
For 87-year-old chairman chairman Bill Craig, along with wife Jean, has stood down from the chair.
Bill said: "It's time to give the younger members the opportunity to run the show."
To acknowledge the hard work and dedication that Bill and Jean have given the club over the years, a special lunch and presentation was organised
by incoming Chairman Bruce Alexander at the Houston House, Uphall.
The club meet at the community education centre within Livingston Village Primary School every Wednesday between 1.30 and 3.30pm.
Community classes at high school
Enrolment is now taking place for daytime and evening community classes at Deans Community High School.
Classes include Gaelic, pilates, Spanish, British Sign Language and pottery.
You can enrol for classes at the school reception on weekdays between 8.30am and 9pm or weekends between 9am and 4pm.

P ut Your West Foot Forward
Join us on our free walks to meet new friends, discover new walks in your area and improve your fitness.
A mystery walk leaves from Livingston Inn car park at 7pm on Wednesday 8 January.
Don't worry if you're not very active at the moment, or are recovering from injury or illness - you will be able to walk at your own pace and there are always options of shorter walks. Our walks are led by trained walk leaders and last between 30-60 minutes.

New class at Mosswood
Mosswood community centre, Knightsridge, has a new Tai Chi (Qi-Gong) class starting between 7 and 8pm on Thursday evenings.
Tai Chi and Qigong use a combination of controlled breathing, focused concentration and simple movements to remove energy blocks and to promote the flow of Qi energy to awaken the body's natural healing ability.
