Livingston is 50
Livingston's 50th anniversary is growing as more people and community groups develop their own ideas for ways to celebrate. Every Livingston community and people of all ages have been involved in celebrating this special occasion.
A special piece of music has also been composed.
Livingston Celebration is the title of a piece of music that has been commissioned by West Lothian Council to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the designation of Livingston as a New Town. The West Lothian Schools Wind Ensemble along with Toccata Ladies Choir and the West Lothian Schools Pipe Band, will feature on a CD recording entitled; 'Livingston Celebration' which will be on sale in mid April. Please contact Derek Rae on 01506 775843 or derek.rae@westlothian.gov.uk to order your copy.
