Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenants are the representatives of the Crown for each county in the United Kingdom. The Queen appoints men or women of all backgrounds, on the advice of the Prime Minister. Mrs Isobel Brydie MBE, is the Lord-Lieutenant of West Lothian.
