Mobile Library and Advice Shop Spring Tour
Staff from West Lothian Advice Shop will be joining colleagues on the Mobile Library service to take advice, information and help direct to local communities. The service will be visiting Westfield, Polbeth, Longridge, Addiewell, Bridgend and Winchburgh over the next few months. To see the full list of dates, please click here. (new window)

6 Book Challenge
Library and Heritage Services and Adult Basic Education are launching a joint initiative to get people reading through the 6 Book challenge. Sign up to read six books or other types of reading material, and as well as enjoying a good story you could win a weekend in London or the West Lothian prize of a Kobo eBook Reader!
Anyone who completes their challenge through ABE before the end of June will receive their certificate at the Tom Meek Awards.

You can email a question using the online form (new window), or chat (new window) with a librarian using our instant messaging service, which is available 9am -5pm, Monday to Friday.
Library Services Survey Analysis 2011
Library customers regularly help shape our services by giving their opinions on the service which they receive which helps inform future development. This latest survey shows that the majority of our customers value the service and are fairly treated by our staff. 90.1% rate the service as excellent, with 92.8% rating the speed of service as excellent.
