Licences - late night catering

Operators of premises which sells hot food to take away after 11.00pm require a "Late Hours Catering Licence". This applies to premises that sell food as refreshments - i.e. garages which provide micromeals to take away, not just take-a-way food establishments.

West Lothian Council's policy on late hours catering is that premises may be licensed as a late hours catering establishment until the hours of 1.00am and that a home delivery service to residential or commercial or industrial premises whilst being used as such may be permitted, upon application, until the hour of 2.00am.  All applications to operate a home delivery service will be referred to the Licensing Committee of the Council.
