Recycling centre set for temporary closure

A West Lothian recycling centre is set to temporarily close.

Deans community recycling centre in Deans Industrial Estate, Livingston, will be shut from Saturday, May 10, to allow demolition work to be carried out safely at the site.

West Lothian residents can continue to use the other recycling centres at: Oakbank in Livingston; Burnhead Industrial Estate, Whitburn; East Mains Street, Blackburn; Greendykes Industrial Estate, Broxburn; and Braehead Road in Linlithgow as normal.

All centres are open from 8am to 8pm, Monday to Friday, and 9am to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday.

The Deans centre will be closed for an estimated two weeks while the work is completed.
